Virgin Media are now well known for their brilliant cable broadband services that are currently available with  up to 50 mb broadband speed with the biggest Broadband packages. Recently developments mean that there are Virgin Media superfast 100mb broadband trials taking place in the Berkshire Village of Woolhampton!

This trial will also see the availability of Virgin Media’s TV service in the village which is an opportunity never before available for the people of Woolhampton, alongside this venture Virgin Media intend to soon bring the next generation of digital services to over 500,000 more homes (Virgin Media currently supply 12.6 million  already). Furthermore the Virgin Media superfast 100mb broadband trials are available through the use of village telegraph poles and will effectively increase a remote village’s broadband speeds ten fold by connecting directly to Virgin Media’s fibre optic network.

If you are not lucky enough to be from Woolhampton and are are at the moment unavailable to access 100mb broadband then  Virgin Media can still provide you with very fast broadband with speeds of up to 50mb currently on offer.  The current offer is just £28 a month with a Virgin Phone line and you will even get 2 months completely free when you sign up online. The service features the following: The 50mb Broadband package gives you 50mb download speeds, unlimited download allowance per month, free internet security, free wireless router and unlimited calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobile numbers.
