Sky Go! Get ready for Sky Go! Sky Go is a new service from Sky TV being launched on 6 July 2011 – Sky Go is being created from the merger of Sky Player (Sky’s online TV service) and Sky Mobile.

What is Sky Go?

All Sky TV customers will be able to watch a range of Sky TV channels and Sky TV programmes on mobile devices including the iPhone, iPad, PC or Mac.

How much does Sky Go cost?

For existing Sky TV customers, Sky Go will be FREE! Not yet a Sky TV customer? Join Sky TV now so you can watch Sky Go. Sky TV starts from only £19.50 a month for Sky TV and from only £29.75 a month for Sky TV with HD. Browse our list of current Sky deals below to make the most of your new Sky TV or Sky HD subscription.

If you don’t have Sky TV and don’t want to join Sky TV or Sky HD, then you will still be able to watch Sky Go by taking out a Sky Go subscription – it is thought these Sky Go subscriptions will cost from £15-£40 a month. Sky Go will be available from August to non-Sky TV customers.

What programmes and channels will be available on Sky Go?

Sky launches Sky Sports News in HD – and it’s FREE for Sky HD customers until 2011!

Sky Sports News is now available on Sky TV, on Sky channel 455. To get Sky Sports News in HD you will have to subscribe to any Sky Sports pack, or sign up to the News and Events entertainment pack as part of your sky TV bundle. But until 23 February 2011 you can get Sky Sports News HD at no extra cost if you are a Sky HD customer!

Getting Sky Sports News HD

  • To access Sky Sports News HD, you need to join or already be a subscriber to Sky TV
  • You will also need the monthly subscription to the Sky HD pack – currently £10 a month for Sky TV customers
