About Sky Multiroom
with Sky Multiroom, you and your family can watch different Sky TV programmes and channels in different rooms in your house. It’s ideal for ending those “what to watch” arguments!
When you sign up to Sky TV, you just select how many extra Sky Boxes you want (you will need another Sky Box in each room you want Sky Multiroom in). There is also a monthly charge of £10 per extra room/Sky Box, on top of your monthly Sky TV package costs.
There are three Sky Boxes: the Standard Sky Box, the Sky+ Box (pause, record and rewind live TV; record two programmes at once with 40 hours of recording time), and the Sky+ HD Box (the same features as the Sky+ Box but with the ability to watch high definition programmes on Sky, and 80 hours recording time, or 30 hours of HD recordings).

A Sky dish can support up to eight standard Sky boxes.
Sky Multiroom Costs and Charges
There is a charge of £10 a month for each room you want Sky Multiroom in.
You will also need to pay for your Sky TV packs – these start at only £19 a month for one entertainment pack rising to £24 a month for all six entertainment packs (Variety, Style & Culture, News & Events, Music, Kids, and Knowledge), plus extra for the Premium Sports and Movies packs.

You will also need to pay for any additional Sky Boxes.
Your first Sky Box – when you sign up for Sky TV online – is FREE for a Standard Sky Box, FREE for a Sky+ or FREE for a Sky+ HD Box when you take the monthly HD pack. Further Sky boxes for Sky Multiroom will be charged for (charges vary).
