About Sky Digital

Sky Digital provides the Sky satellite TV service. They offer a range of entertainment packs, and you can select from one to six of these:

• Knowledge Pack

There are also premium packs available at an extra cost:

Sign up for Sky TV from Sky Digital now.

You can sign up for Sky TV with a FREE standard Sky Box – this box allows you to access sky TV programmes that you have signed up to.

Other Sky Boxes: You could instead sign up for a Sky Plus Box – this lets you pause, rewind and record Live TV programmes – and you can record two programmes at one time. You can also record many series with the touch of one button, using the Series Link feature, and 40 hours of recording time. You can also sign up for a Sky Plus HD Box – this has all the advantages of a Sky Plus Box. Plus you get to watch HD (high definition) Sky programmes and films (if you have signed up to those packs), and you get 80 hours of recording time (30 hours in HD). Sky Digital Costs and Charges

The Standard Sky Box is free when you sign up to Sky TV. The other Sky Boxes available have an up front charge – the Sky Plus Box is £49 at present, and the Sky Plus HD Box currently only £49 plus a £9.75 a month charge for the HD pack.

Standard set-up for new Sky TV customers varies.

If you want to sign up to Sky Multiroom – so you and your family can watch different Sky TV channels in different rooms at the same time – it costs £9.75 a month per extra room, plus the cost of the extra Sky Box(es) for each room.
